No car. Any reason to be close by?

Best place for a steak type dinner would be at the Dolphin Hotel: Shulas. I like Wolfgang Puck which is closeby at DT Disney but not meat and potatoes per se but there are simple things on the menu.

I've only had Sunday Brunch at your hotel which used to be awesome but I don't know about dinner.

Some like Arthur 27 on top of the Wyndham. Nice view of the fireworks which could be a plus but I haven't eaten here for some time. Hopefully someone else will respond.

Don't eat at pucks - we went there recently and thought it was a waste. I have eaten at both his chicago restruants and they where much better(but even those were not that great)

Although we did not go there, we wish we did(instead of pucks), arthur 27 is supposed to be a great place.

Victoria & Albert?s (in the grand flordian)is supposed to be fantastic

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House gets a very high zagat food score(27) but does not sound that romantic

Manuel?s on the 28th (downtown Orlando) should be very nice also - on the 28th floor in downtown orlando

Call you concierge at the hyatt ahead of time, they should give you some additional advice.

Don't eat in downtown disney - the resturants are PACKED with kids (except for pucks- see above)

We had an excellent meal at LaCoquina in the Hyatt. It's their formal restaurant overlooking a small decorative pool. Hemingways, also in the hotel, is good, but not the same caliber as La Coquina.
