Oregon Lodging - very frustrating!
Has anyone stayed at the Zen Bed and Breakfast in Manzanita? It has mixed reviews so I'm not sure. I am looking for lodging in Cannon Beach for 160.00 or less and I'm not having much luck. When I do find something the reviews aren't that great. If I end up staying in Manzanita, is it a lot of work to back track and do the sights in Cannon Beach? Any lodging in Cannon Beach would be greatly appreciated. Did not want to spend over 160.00 a night if doable. Thank you!

Not sure when you're going, but Cannon Beach is likely booked solid through August. I tried a few of my favorites without success. It's just a big motel, but we've stayed at the Tolovana Inn a few times and it's clean and in good shape. On the beach on the S side of Cannon Beach. You might try that.

I see that link doesn't work. Try this and then click "Check Area Motel Rates": http://www.2chambers.com/cannon_beach,_oregon1.htm

We did stay in Manzanita a couple Septembers ago and drove up to Cannon in the pouring rain. It's doable, but not a straight, quick road. I'll try to look up the place. Very new, small, somewhat European, and too expensive.
The Cannon Beach choices given above are probably better options.
