One on one experiences in zoos?
Does anyone know of any zoos that offer one on one experiences with animals for a fee? I've seen it noted on a few TV documentaries that some zoos will have a lottery or charge a fee for private one on ones with various animals, but haven't been able to find any information on these programs. If anyone knows anything about them, please let me know. Thanks!

The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago will send you behind the scenes with an animal trainer.

Brookfield Zoo has a similar program.

Gee Kal, that was a helpful comment!
jocalyin1969, this sounds like a very interesting way to visit a zoo. Which area or state are you interested in? We just visited the Oregon Zoo in November and with there being virtually no crowds, we were able to walk right up to the cages and view the animals very closely.
I was actually nose to nose with a Grizzly bear, it was really nice visiting the zoo with no crowds. ***kim***
