Omni San Francisco??
Has anyone out there stayed at the Omni in San Francisco? Any comments? I think I can get a very good deal on staying there (around $150 per night). Any other recommendations at that price range (or below?). Thanks!

I work on the same block of Montgomery and like this area, convenient to everything. Our clients stay in this hotel, always positive experience. The California street side of the hotel is overlooking the cable cars, so I think it may get noisy in the morning, but I did not hear any complaints.

I stayed there... got a 128.00 rate on hotwire.com (4 star - Embarcadero area)
I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were great and the service was flawless and extremely friendly. Location is fine, trolley runs right in front of it.

On Priceline I got the Hilton Towers for $65.00 per night over Memorial Day weekend. Total price, 4 nights w/tax, etc. is $302.00.
Go to biddingfortravel.com and read up on how to bid. Most of the 4**** hotels in SF run no more than $75.00 on priceline, especially if you know how the bidding game works. Read the FAQ section on Hotels before you start bidding.
Good luck.

Stayed at the Omni a couple of months ago, won it on priceline for $92 I think. It's a nice hotel in the Financial District. As with any hotel downtown, parking cost is extremely high, but the rooms are nice. They're on the small side, but very well appointed and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was they only had one elevator for the entire hotel which made the waits kind of long. Service was great and the hotel was nice and quiet.
