Oahu Transportation

Can anybody tell me if there is public transportation(Bus/cab/etc) from Waikiki to Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor? Plus approximately how long it takes to get there? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately it wasn't of any help since I'm not familiar with the area.

If you put the words Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor into a 'google' or other search engine, you will get a list of website, some with maps and directions for getting there. It appears it's up on the North Shore. So would be too far to go by taxi from Waikiki.

I've seen "The Bus" in Haleiwa, so I know it goes there -- just don't know the route or schedule.

The Bus circumnavigates the island several times a day. And this should be confirmed by the above listed website.

The website's map function is "under construction" -- the site itself is very confusing. I would also call.

check route 52. It should drop you about 1 mile or less from the small boat harbor.

I don't know about which bus route you would take, but yikes, that would be a long bus ride. Probably at least 2 hours, and most likely you'd have to transfer somewhere.

I live about 15-20 minutes from Waikiki, in the direction of the North Shore. It takes me another 30 or so minutes in zero traffic to get to Haleiwa.

You might want to check with one of the tours, if you could get dropped off there, like on a Robert's Hawaii bus?

#52 bus goes from Pearlridge Center to North Shore. Takes about 2 hours. You can take #20 from Waikiki to Pealridge.

I don't know where the bus stops are in Haleiwa.

Here is a bus phone number you can call. They are good at giving info.
