NYC - Transportation from Newark Airport to Hotel
Will be flying in to Newark airport Thursday afternoon and staying at the Sheraton Suites in Weehawken. What would be the cheapest, easiest way from the airport to the hotel? Thanks!

Depends on what you want - cheapest or easiest.
The easiest way is to take a taxi. The cost will be about $40 (which assumes the tip.) With little traffic, it'll be about a 20 to 30 minute ride, depending on how savvy the driver is with local roads.
The cheapest possibility is to take either a cab, the local bus or the Airtrain to Newark's Penn Station. From there, switch to the PATH Train. Change for the Hoboken bound train at Exchange Place. Once in Hoboken, take either bus 126 or a cab, to the hotel. All in, this should run between $5 and $15, depending. Personally, I wouldn't do this as it might take from 1 to 2 hours.
The other option, is take one of the buses that come into NY. Have them drop you off at 34th Street. (You could also take the Airtrain to Penn Station NY.) Then, catch a westbound NY Waterway Bus to their terminal on West 38th. You'll take the Lincoln Harbor boat to just a few feet from the hotel. Combined cost will be about $15 to $20.

First call the hotel and determine that their shuttle service does not include Newark Airport. If it doesn't, a cab is fastest, and the fare is $40. If their shuttle goes to the PATH station in Hoboken or Jersey City, or to Penn Station in Newark, then I would consider taking the PATH, or take a cab to Newark Penn Station and get the PATH from there or get the hotel shuttle from there( cab takes about 10 minutes, about $12 fare). If their shuttle picks up at NY Port Authority in Manhattan, then it might be worthwhile to take a bus from Newark Airport to the Port Authority and then get the hotel shuttle. The bus costs $12.
Website for Newark Airport is http://www.newarkairport.com. The site can explain the various public and private transport options, and there are maps of the terminals as well.
If you decide to take a taxi from the airport, there is a taxi stand outside the terminal. Fares are fixed, tell the dispatcher where you want to go.
