North Conway - spa and lodging

Hi,

Looking to ski, spa and shop in North Conway.

Are there any good spa locations? also - any recommended lodging convenient to Mt. Cranmore?

thanks,

janet

jayseadee,
I've been to The Cut Off Salon in North Conway. It is not really a Spa, but more a salon that offers spa services (e.g. mani/pedi; facials, massages).

What type of lodging are you looking for and what is your budget? There are loads of places to stay - condos, hotels, motels and B&B's, as well as a couple of resorts. The Chamber of Commerce has a good comprehensive listing of lodging options also.

thanks for the link; I'll take a look.

Our budget is ~$200 per night. I was hoping one of the hotels had a spa on location, but I will check out the place you mentioned. Just looking for a few ways to pass time while my husband and friends ski.

jayseadee,
The Red Jacket has a spa onsite.

This just down the street from Cranmore

The Inn at Thorn Hill in Jackson may not meet your budget for lodging but they have a spa. http://www.innatthornhill.com/spa.html
There is also the Christmas Farm Inn in Jackson that has a spa.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

I had seen the Red Jacket, but it sounds very family oriented, especially with the new waterpark.

The Cut-off actually has some nice services for a day spa and it sounds like they are right next to the Eastern Slope Inn, so that's a good possibility.

Thorn HIll sounds great, but we don't want to spend that much given that we won't spend much time there. Will keep it in mind for a summer or fall visit.

jayseadee,
The Cut Off Salon is actually right next to a place called Eastern Inn, not to be confused with Eastern Slope Inn...

The Eastern Inn is not necessarily a place that I would recommend. We stayed there in a 2 room suite type place that was OK but smelled very musty and weird. The pool and hot tub areas were not very clean.
