Hello,

There are several posts here on the subject but nothing really recent. My husband and I are expecting in Oct and are considering staying here for a weekend in Aug. We have an option of a suite in the lodge or a room in the manor house for the same price. Any suggestions on your stay here?

Iwas there about two years ago and had a great time but that's not recent.

It's NOT a Homestead or Greenbrier but it is a nice spa that's not terribly expensive.

I would not recommend staying at Coolfont. The Inn and Spa at Berkeley Springs is better. You can get a nice suite there and be in town for strolling and meals. It also has a great spa. I have never seen the inside of the rooms at Coolfont, but have been on the property for meals: not really good. I have heard that the whole place is in dire need of upgrading. Also, Coolfont is in deep financial trouble and might not be open in August

Thanks for your responses. Homestead and Greenbrier are very nice and very expensive. I will check out the Inn and Spa at Berkeley.
