Nightlife
My best friend and I will be staying at the Ramada Plaza New Yorker for two nights then off to the embassy suites. We are both 23 year old males looking for great spots to party. I am not really into dance clubs, more lounges or casual hang out bars. Where to the woman flock to in NYC? Also has anyone taken the Yankee Clipper to a Yankees game. That is on our agenda.

You'l get better responses if you put the destination in your title.
I see you are relatively new here. There is only one big US message area, not separate ones for each state. You probably clicked on "New York" when you started this thread, but that just helps index this thread for search purposes.
Also, to see those threads that you've posted to in the past (or started) just click on your name up above, and similary, to see posts made by others, click on their name to the left of where you see "Author: "
Welsome & good luck.

If the Yankee Clipper is the NY Waterway boat, I have taken it to a Yankee game at the Stadium. Fare was inclusive of a ticket & transportation, probably varies by stadium seating. Get there early to get a seat; otherwise you can stand all the way. It was a good way to get to the stadium.

Take the express D train to Yankee stadium, much easier than the boat......
As for bars - Hell's Kitchen is a great neighborhood to go out in, you could travel downtown to Soho but I prefer the laid back vibe of 8th 9th and 10th avenues in Hell's kitchen -
Some recommendations:
Social Bar + Grill + Lounge - live music
795 8th Avenue (betw 48th & 49th)
Zanzibar
645 Ninth Avenue (@ 45th)
(more lounge like, cocktails, cool vibe)
Mr Biggs
596 Tenth Avenue (@ 43rd)
(sometimes a kick on late Saturday nights, has karaoke and late night gets broadway stars done with their shows hanging out drinking and performing)
Have fun!
