Niagara Falls Hotels
Posted this on the Canadian board but figured the U.S. board may get a little more traffic, so posting it here as well.
My wife and I are planning our first trip to Toronto/Niagara Falls and are looking for advice on a memorable place to stay (most likely on the Canadian side).
Have heard good things about each of the Marriott, Sheraton (I think there are two of them), and Hilton that it's got my head spinning.
Looking for great views, great location, and just a great overall experience.
Thanks in advance for your help!

The Sheraton Fallsview was one of the nicest rooms and THE nicest view I've ever had. I had one of the 2-story penthouse rooms - it was awesome, and looked right out onto the falls. It had 2 bathrooms, one with a large jacuzzi tub...gotta love that! VERY memorable.

Stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview and the views are excellent. Other than that it is a basic Sheraton - nothing special but OK if you get it for a good rate - I think we paid $79 or so. Don;t know of any really excellent hotels in the area.

Just a clarification... the Niagara Fallsview Resort and Casino is the new property...tom42 is right...its a $billion resort advertising $109 US rooms... opens June 10... I can't think of a better recommendation than that... just the excitement alone makes it memorable...

Tom/Gary,
Thanks for the info on the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. Will definitely have to look into this.
How long do these low intro rates usually stay around for? We're thinking of going sometime the end of June or the 1st couple of weeks of July and it would be great to still get that $100/nite quote.

I stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview last year and thought it was awesome. We were on the 25th floor and the falls view just about looks like a picture framed by the window. We were in perfect position to see the nightly colors and the fireworks. I think SFV would be a great choice.

We just got married in Niagara Falls, NY ... and stayed in the Red Coach Inn which we found just great.

Location can't be beat, short walk to all attractions. Inside really nice with own parking in back - also has a great restuarant.
