We are a family of 4 from the Philippines. We will be going to the U.S. East Coast in April 2008 and the Niagara Falls is in our itinerary.

Will we be allowed to stay for 2 days in the Ontario side of the Falls if we do not have Canadian visas, only U.S. visas? We are traveling to Niagara from New York City by AMTRAK.

You should check this out with the Canadian government - even if someone here knows, it is too important a question to be answered on a travel board. You might also try poting on Canad board here and someone might be able to send you to the right website or phone number to get your question answered.

According to this list: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp, you will need a visa.

Canada is Canada. You will need the visas. And - you need to be sure that your US visas allow for multiple entries (it's much harder to get back into the US FROM Canada than to get into Canada.)
