New York City Limo service
We generally find that a limo from the airport to the hotel is not that much more expensive than a taxi and much more comfortable. It's been a few years though since we've visited the city.
Can anyone recommend a good limo service that we could book a reservation with?

Carmel is one I've used many times, but I've used sedans, not limos. Check out www.CarmelLimo.com for more info - there might be discount codes there as well. Enjoy your trip!

This last time into the city and back I thought the taxi driver was going to kill us. Even my DH said he was worried.
So on our next visit coming up in May I am going to use a car service.
Thanks for posting this question.

Sorry -
Limos are much more expensive than taxis. I fyou mean a basic car servie - black sedan, then they are usually not uch more. An actual limo will be twice as much as a taxi at least.
Reliable car services are Carmel or Dial 7. Go to the web sites for coupons.

SandyBrit - Many of the drivers are out of control. They're usually speaking on their phones (which is illegal for drivers even with just an ear piece). This goes for the car service drivers at well. No matter where I travel in the city, after I give my destination, I tell them not too fast. They almost always comply and if not, I tell them again. Always, wear your seat belt.
