Yes, lincasanova, that's really mainly what Avenue Q is. Even the songs are more about the clever lyrics than about being "production" numbers. Audiences members would also benefit from being very familiar with Sesame Street (this is a sort of "adult" version of Sesame Street). Not a good choice for what you're asking in my opinion.

thanks. we saw "movin out" when we were there, but i am not sure the 25-30 yr. old bracket would like it as much.
anyone have any other suggestions mostly dancing and music?
does anyone know if phantom is still there and at tkts? i think that would appeal to any age.. the special effects were so good.

I must say, that my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by Movin Out (we are older than 30
). We really enjoyed it. The choreography was outstanding - the music and dance sucessfully told the story. You would need to understand the lyrics in order to fully understand and appreciate the performance. But I say, "well done"!
