New Years Eve Getaway Suggestions from DC area - MD, VA, WV
DH and I are looking to get away for New Years Eve. We are looking for a quiet B&B or Inn in the MD, VA, WV area. Any recommendations for places to stay or restaurants? We are considering St. Michael's, Solomons Island, Harpers Ferry but are open to other options.

Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michael's is very nice and their restaurant is also very nice. SM's has some great scenery and outstanding restaurants.

It is most likely too late, but perhaps you may want to check the Historic Lodgings in Colonial Williamsburg. These inns are in the heart of the historic area and are said to replicate 18th century lodging, but really they do not. They have modern conveniences and are furnished with replica furniture. Yet, they have colonial ambience and you walk out at night directly into the historic district and that is the magic of the inns. Williamsburg has a first night celebration.
