New Orleans, Hotel St Marie

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? It is on Toulouse Street. It is one of 3 hotels we can pick as part of a package from the UK. The other hotels are the Fairmont and Place D'armes.

Don't know first hand, but we have reservations for the Sugar Bowl. When are you going? I'll post when we return on 1-7 and let you know how it was.

I don't know that hotel personally, but I found these reviews on tripadvisor.com

thanks J Correa for finding these reviews. They are a little mixed but most seem very favourable.

Both the St. Marie & Place d'Armes are good choices. I would actually rate the Place d'Armes a little higher due to location but both are fine establishments. I can't speak to the Fairmont.

No problem. I've found Trip Advisor to be a pretty good source for customer reviews, esspecially for smaller or lesser known places that may or may not be listed on Fodors or other sites like that.

One thing I really like is that on the home page there is a text search box and I just typed in the name of the hotel and was directed right to the info I wanted - no sifting through pages or anything. Very quick.
