Need your help to decide which rental

Hello,
I m trying to organise a week (september) in Washington DC with husband and 8 years old daughter. Usually I m ok finding a rental home in Europe but since it's our first time in America, it is quite overwhelming. Therefore, I d be grateful if you could spare a few minutes and help me to decide which rental is the closest by foot to the main museums & other historic attractions or the one you would recommend.

On Homeaway, I set up 3 filters: 2 bedrooms, reviews and owner operated and 4 rentals caught my eyes. In order I put below the geographic data I could gather from the listing and then the link to the advert.

1/Southwest waterfront: https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p512545vb
2/ Less than half a block Stanton Park and one block from Restaurant Row: https://www.homeaway.co.uk/p339969#reviewsPage2
3/ 418 Seward Sq SE: https://www.homeaway.co.uk/p606355vb#summary
4/ Hil Flats: https://www.homeaway.co.uk/p476546vb

So what do you think? Any thoughts about these locations and the rentals?

I used Google Maps to locate no 3 ( 418 Seward Sq SE) and I don't recognise the place at all. Is it me who needs an extra pair of glasses? Here's the result I found: http://bit.ly/21rWzix

Do you think they are all ok to book or is there any that's best to avoid.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I might pass on the first one. Nothing wrong with it but, comparatively, it's not the most interesting part of the city for a visitor. The other three are in the Capitol Hill area, more leafy residential, more good restaurants to choose from. From the pictures, 2, 3 and 4 all look lovely. #2 appears to be a fifteen minute walk to the closest Metro station so I might take it off the table for that, all other things being equal. DC is a very walkable city but September can still have some warm days and a shorter walk home after a long day out might be a good thing.

The first one doesn't even indicate where it is unless I'm missing something. A general huge circle if yo uare in a bad part of that circle, it will be rather inconvenient and I don't find it that attractive around there.

I'm not a Stanton Park fan, it is farther from metro and that area is a little dicier than I'd care for.

I used to live about a block or two from the one across from the LOC, I think that location is the best. The one near Seward Sq is okay also. I would pick from those two.

I don't know what you mean about not "recognizing" the one one Seward Square. You've never been there, so why would you? That link clearly shows Seward Square. Photos on Google can be years old, they aren't current.

Maybe she means she can't figure out which building it is. I believe it is the white one being worked on. The others have house numbers

Hello again.
Sorry for the delay replying. I typed up my message earlier but it disappeared. So I ll start again. At the end we booked apart no 3. In the building there are 3 flats. We booked the top floor(Unit3). Thanks again for your help and advice. Isy
