Nationwide Arena Columbus

Needing advice. IF I can secure BlueJacket tickets, I am wondering where to stay? Are there nice hotels near the arena? AND depending on when we are there, need to know if there is a Catholic church near by. Is St. Joseph's Cathedral near Nationwide? Thanks for the help and advice.

There are several hotels within walking distance of the Arena. It's a safe area (esp. after a game!) so you would be fine walking. There's the Hyatt Regency, The Crowne Plaza, The Lofts (a boutique hotel). I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza and liked it, my father stayed at The Lofts and liked that as well. Not sure about Catholic churches.

Also a Hampton Inn in walking distance. St. Joseph's is the nearest Catholic church. It would be about a 10 block walk, so depending on the weather it's a short drive or a nice Sunday morning walk.

Not sure how far you are traveling...but we frequent the Blue Jackets games and just show up at the arena and buy tickets from licensed scalpers.?.? We have always scored GREAT seats from these folks. They stand right outside of the arena and have some type of license around their neck...I am sorry I don't know the legalities of it all but it works for us. Not to mention we purchased great tickets for the Rolling Stones a few years back. You can always talk them down to a reasonable price.

Good luck!

Thanks. I didn't know scalping was legal in Ohio. It isn't where we live.
