I cannot figure out if this pass is per vehicle or for 4 people only in the vehicle.

I have a pass that I got in a National Park - will use it for our trip to Grand Canyon. We'll be in one rented mini-van, and it will be 6 adults. My information is conflicting - per park ranger we'll need only one pass for all 6, per website it's for 4 adults. Don't want to buy a 2nd pass if not needed.

Do we need another pass (that we can buy at home and don't worry about it later) or one pass will cover all 6 traveling together in one mini-van? It's a family, not an organized group.

The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. (children under 16 are admitted free)

The above was copied from the NP website. So it depends on HOW they charge at the site you're going to... by car or by person.

Grand Canyon NP seems to offer both entrance fee options so I think you're good to go!

No, it's not correct. It's per vehicle if we enter in a car (or van) and per person if on foot on on a bike.
