Naples Beach Resorts question
Hi,
I am looking at resort in Naples Beach, FL, preferably on the beach. I'm wondering if it's possible to find a condo-like arrangement with a private outdoor entrance. It seems like every resort in that area is a high-rise and we would like to avoid lobbies and elevators.
Any suggestions?

I"m a little confused as to whether you want a resort or a private vacation condo rental?
What you want is not common because beachfront real estate is too expensive. Condo buildings are going to be tall and have a lot of units. BUt if you search some websites, you might find one that happened to be on the ground floor (some buildings don't even have units on the ground floor, everybody wants a view/balcony, and the ground floor is often a garage).
Here's one, expensive I think, about $3800 a month and only 30 day+ rentals (that could be a stipulation in some condo terms, by the way, for owners who want to sublet out units as vacation rentals).

Here's one in Bonita Springs but I don't think it has an ocean view.

I'll admit I'm not even sure if you want a short vacation or to move there.
My niece has one in Fort Myers, actually, which is ground floor which is nice for having a lanai or whatever but it is NOT on the beach. I think that's the problem. It will be easy to find units on the ground floor as a vacation rental but they won't be on the beach (small two story complexes with some units on the ground floor, stuff like that).
