Niebaum Coppola
Dinner Bouchon
Next morning mud bath at Lincoln Avenue spa or Lavendar Hill
Clos Pegase
Sterling
V. Sattui
Dinner Tra Vigne
Sunday Brunch General's Daughter

Head back to San Fran via Muir Beach stop
Dinner Elisabeth Daniel or Azie. Spend next day in San Fran including Chagall exhibit at SFMOMA.
I have been to Sonoma before and San Fran 3x. Any better alternatives

jillis- don't bother with dinner at Elizabeth Daniel...Way overpriced for what you get....we felt it was major rip-off for SFO...

THe chef is one of the TOP new chefs for 2002 from Food and Wine and the restuarant is one of the MOST romantic ones I have ever eaten in...Request a table on the side with private drapes...

Hi Jillis! Most of your ITN looks good.
A few cavaet's: You can not do a mud bath at Lincoln Ave Spa-you can do a body mud thing where they or you slather yourself, but is is not a "bath". Indian Springs or the Mt.View Hotel might be your ticket. If you want a terrific lunch after in Calistoga try the All Seasons Cafe on Lincoln and be sure to stop by Wexford & Woods for an incomparable selection of soaps etc. Fun to just smell your way thru the store! Sound like fun-October is beautiful here!

Another great place to eat in SF is Zarzuela - a casual spanish restaurant in the Russian Hill area at Union and Hyde. Great tapas and reasonably priced spanish wines. Fun atmosphere and located in one of the best neighborhoods in SF. Walk across the street after dinner for ice cream at the original Swenson's.
