N. Carolina, Tenn, and???
I arrive 10-6 in Durham,NC, and will visit with a Dukie family member, then head west. I bought ticket to Opry(Nashville)10-9, and would like suggestions of sights/golf along the way. From Nashville, I would like to see as much as possible of the country and play golf, ending up back in Durham on the 17th.

Drive I-65 north from Nashville into Kentucky. Stop at Bowling Green to see the Corvette Museum, stop at Mammoth Cave National Park, come on up to Louisville and see the KY Derby Museum, the Slugger baseball bat museum, the Frazier Arms Museum, the Muhammed Ali Center, Locust Grove where George Rogers Clark spent his last years, and Farmington visited by Abraham Lincoln.
Drive up I-64 east and visit Fort Harrod in Harrodsburg, Shakertown in Pleasant Hill, and a horse farm in Lexington.
Take I-75 south to Knoxville and then I-40 east for the Great Smoky Mountain NP, on to Asheville, NC, for the Biltmore, and drive awhile on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If they have had more rain than we have, you should see some good fall color on your way home.
