Myrtle Beach Restaurants
I'm looking for a restuarnt serving mixed drinks, has a good wine list and serves nice food, in the moderate to moderate-high price range, which can accommodate 15 people, and has a causal dress code. Long pants okay, but no jackets. Has to be on the north side of MB, not too far from NC line, and preferably on or very close to Rte. 17. I'm on the hook to make a reservation. I know people have discussed MB food before - but your help would be most appreciated. What do you have firsthand experience with and would recommend?

AHA!
I know just the place!
Collector's Cafe has all that you are looking for and great food in a wonderful atmosphere to boot.
They have rooms that are private/semi-private, but you need to make reservations as far in advance for a group of that size as possible since the place is not huge.
It's an oasis of excellent food and good taste in the otherwise seafood-buffet-laden-kiddy-food-town that is MB.

Where is Collectors Cafe? We go 4-5 times a year and the DH always wants to go to the same places over and over and over...Calabash, Horry's,etc, but I like to go somewhere other than those kinds of places on occasion. When we were down over Easter weekend we went to Benny Rappa's, it was very good, but too small for your group, itleyen.
BTW, how is that place that was a church?
