Laguna Beach Favorite Restaurants
Staying at the Montage in April celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Have a reservation at The Studio at the resort, but would love three or four other recs. for dinners, since we will be there five days. We like views, atmosphere, location, people watching, new and trendy, and obviously good food. Any type except for Sushi/Asian. Don't need the most expensive or most gourmet, just good for whatever reason. Thanks for you help!

I really like Cafe Zuloo. It's small, and not in a really trendy area. No views, but a lot of great food, particularly fish, and a good atmosphere. Kind of a small place, with Hawaiian versions of 60s classics playing, need a reservation. Have you looked on Chowhound.com for other ideas? My parents really liked Sundried Tomato, and there are a few Mexican places that people like. I also like Hush a lot. Great food and wine list and a patio if it's warm.

We tried Las Brisas in Laguna last week, and thought the food was great. We were able to sit outside at a table overlooking the ocean. Check out the photo section on their webpage.

Try Ti Amo for Italian. Great atmosphere and great food. Also try the White House right in main beach. The food there is excellent and if you get a table on the patio you can sure do a lot of people watching. If you like Mexican try Javiers. It is also right in main beach. Splashes (Surf and Sand) is also a great place if you want to sit right by the ocean and eat.
Enjoy and let us know how you like the Montage.
Congratulations!
