I missed the Mummers Day Parade in Philadelphia this year but would like to obtain of video tape of the Mummers' band contest that took place. Does anyone know if such a tape exists and where can one be purchased. Thanks for any help.

I hope someone has the information. We used to be able to watch the parade on the Travel Channel, but since it turned to poker tournaments the parade has disappeared.

I was broadcast in Phila. on Channel 17 which is the WB network. Maybe you can get a tape from them

At www.mummers.com you can access both the Mummers' Museum site and the sites of the various stringbands; this is where we've gotten tapes in the past. I'm not sure how soon this year's will be out, but the Museum would be a good place to check on that. They're dedicated!
