More Kauai accommodation advice needed

Has anyone stayed at the following 2 places, and if so, what were they like?

www.vrbo.com/43350
www.vrbo.com/76382

I might be procrastinating on somewhere to stay, but at least I have my airfare booked for March 2007. Woohoo!!

Thanks a bunch
Gilbert

No, but thanks for the links

You've still got lots of options before March next year.
Good Hunting !

Both look nice but I have not had good luck in using VRBO. Done it twice and both times I was very disappointed and you really don't have any recourse. One time, the place was dirty, TV didn't work and the air conditioning unit blew such hot air into the patio that I couldn't sit on the patio and that is what I love to do (Hawaii). The other was in Lake Tahoe and there were several things broken, dirty carpet and no screens on the windows so I couldn't open the windows for air. Oh well - live and learn

Hi Gilbert, when will you be there? We also have booked our airfare for March, 2007.

I found a really neat place in Kapaa the other day and will put the link on here if I find it again. I have been checking vrbo also and am just about totally confused!

pspercy, want to sell your WhysoHigh space to me?

I love that 1st place on the river and would stay there in a heartbeat. Great price too.

I use VRBO for all my trips and have never had a problem.

We stayed @ Lily Pad Cottage of Anini Beach Cottages. It was wonderful. We felt quite secluded with a full kitchen, a lanai(with weber) and wm& d. Friends have stayed @ Mango Cottage in the same complex and loved it as well.

I took a look at the website and there is not a listing for a Lilly Pad. Do you mean Jade Lily (sleeps 5)?
