I have not stayed there but walk by it often. It is old and not too attractive from the outside, in a good central location, and got suprisingly good reviews on Trip Advisor.

The Moore was built in 1906, and it has never been restored as an historic boutique hotel.

I've never stayed there, but I have attended many shows at the attached Moore Theater, which is a dump badly in need of renovation.

In reading TripAdvisor, I gather the Moore Hotel is liked by those for whom price is the main concern and who view a hotel room as nothing more than a place to crash.

The location is great; however, I predict you will get what you pay for.

This ia a little late for a response, but I wanted to write that we did stay at the Moore Hotel in Seattle, and had a very enjoyable stay for a great price. The staff was wonderful and our room was clean and looked to be just painted. There aren't any extras, but we didn't expect any for that price. No car needed, which was another plus.I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Recently I saw an old friend who lives down in Portland now. He has stayed at the Moore quite often and likes it very much (I didn't know this back when I posted above).

I just went to their website. Maybe they changed it because of your complaint, but it VERY clearly says "The Moore Hotel does NOT provide free parking".

For anyone wondering about this thread...
there were post(s) removed above by the editors. One person's complaining review about the hotel. I didn't dig up a 3 year old thread myself just to talk about parking at the Moore Hotel -lol.
