Looking to rent a Mini Van for 6 people at Hilo Airport Dec. 05-2009 and return it to Kona Airport Dec. 13-2009.
Would appreciate any tips or advice for good price and service.

I like to use www.orbitz.com for rental comparison shopping, the go directly to the rental car co website to make the actual reservation.

For service nothing beats Hertz gold reservations - look up your name on the signboard upon arrival and head straight to your car. I always shop by price first, and therefore rarely use Hertz these days.

I've had good luck through this website: www.discounthawaiicarrental.com.
I'm a Blue Chip member with Thrifty, so usually go through the above link to access the Thrifty rates. That way I can go to a special line at the counter and not have to wait.
Using this site there is no charge for 2nd driver.

Great idea Matt! Will they ship a van to Hawaii, which is where warrsher is looking for one?
