I was wondering if we need to book a car service for a transfer from Miami airport to
our hotel … or are there private cars (other than taxis) that are available at the airport.
In Seattle, we were able to just walk out of the airport and find a car. The cost was
just a little more than a taxi…..

You realize, I hope, how busy MIA can get, especially on heavy cruise ship days. Thousands of people arriving. I am not sure what you mean by a "private car" unless you are talking about those limos which sometimes cruise at airports looking for fares.

I'm with Dukey - there are ALWAYS plenty of taxis waiting the the airport - once you exit the terminal you'll be in a cab within a couple of minutes.

Use Uber if they are allowed to pickup at the airport.

We have used Larry's to the FLL airport and cruise port, but sure they service MIA as well.
