Maui; Wailea Beach Path??

We will be going to Maui in June, and have read other posters say they enjoy the Wailea beach path. Does anybody know the best place to access this beach path?? Want to be able to walk along in the evening. Also, where can we park, as we will be staying down the road @ the Maui Prince. Apparently, it goes along many of the hotels in the Wailea area. If anybody can give me some info on this, I would really appreciate it.

Any of the hotels along the way. Four Seasons, Kea Lani, Grand Wailea, etc. They all have free parking and have easy access to the beach.

Can anyone give me any more input into this. "Melissa5" said they had a really hard time trying to access this path at nighttime for a stroll along the ocean. They kept running into gates & so forth, just want to know the best place to access because we won't be staying @ the 4Seasons or Grand Wailea. Thanks, Deb

Deblynn, you might try parking at the Shops at Wailea, which is right near the Marriott Wailea resort. From there, you can walk through the Marriott property down to the path (about 10 minutes from the Shops parking lot). Enjoy!

According to the Blue Book, "it stretches between the Renaissance and Fairmont Kea Lani resorts (Mokapu and Polo Beaches)". The book also highlights the beach access paths in yellow. You may want to pick up a copy.

Hope this helps! We'll be there in July and want to walk it too! Belle

You can access the beach path by parking at the small public parking area between the Four Seasons and the Grand Wailea (Wailea Beach). Another public parking spot is Ulua/Mokapu Beach, which is by the Renaissance. A 3rd choice is Polo Beach Parking area by the Kea Lani. The beach path is best for early morning walks; as the sun rises, the colors reflecting off the mountains are beautiful. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset walk and check out the lu'aus at the Mariott and Renaissance. Late night walks on the beach path can be isolated in spots.
