Maui- Romantic Restaurants Value

I am looking for a perfect place to celebrate our 3rd year wedding anniversary. We will be staying at a condo in Kihei. Anybody have a recommendation for a reasonable price restaurants in either the island or in the resort hotels? Our anniversary is on the 4th of July.

Thanks.

Have you thought of going to a luau?
We went to the Royal Lahaina Luau, and there were several couples there who were celebrating their anniversary.

i suggest you post this question on the hawaii forum to get more responses

then again, i don't know how you can put a price on romance (value?) a private dinner (or picnic) on the beach can be just as romantic as say dinner at mama's (my fav), spago's or nick's

but a luau? with hundreds of other people in a buffet line; wouldn't be my idea of romantic but i guess it could work as long as we're in the right mood

www.mauihawaii.org Good dining section

www.driveguidemagazines.com Good restaurant guide. Good maps including detailed maps.

What do you consider "reasonably priced?" Are you foodies, or prefer more of steak and potatoes thing?

If you decide on a luau, check out Feast at Lele in Lahaina. Delcious food and drinks, served at private tables on the beach, different from the typical buffet style luau which bluefan describes above.
