Maui not to be missed restaurants!
I'm seeing there are so many choices of restaurants to eat while in Maui, with only 7 nights. We will be going to the Feast of Lele one night but want to plan the rest of our evening dinners. Would like to get top (not to be missed restaurants) in Maui. Thanks, Deb

Maui is filled with terrific restaurants. We just returned and ate at Mama's, Hailiimaile General Store, Sansei, Planatation House, Roys, Hula Grill and Tommy Bahama Cafe. Mama's very good and a lovely location, but I felt it was to expensive when there are so many other wonderful restaurants. The Plantation House has beautiful views, terrific food and quite romantic. We ate at Sansei three times, fabulous food and reasonable, loved Hailiimaile General Store for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with The Tommy Bahama Cafe. The service, food and music were terrific, so good that we had dinner their 2 nights. We are Roy's fans and had dinner at the Kihei location. The food was good, but we felt quite rushed and we were not impressived with the service. Enjoy your stay!

Sansei, for great Japanese/Pacific Rim (was Zagat's top-rated restaurant in the state of Hawaii for a couple of years), Roy's Kahana Grill, for great eclectic cooking in a hip setting, and
I'o, oh-so-romantic, seafood specialty, open air in tropical garden overlooking the ocean in Lahaina.
