Maui Restaurants
Please name the top places. Will soon fly there for a week, business/pleasure, and need to reserve. Researched and noted discussions, but would appreciate your up to date suggestions about personal favorites. Many thanks for your kind assistance.

The place I enjoyed the most was IO in Lahaina. It's part of a trio of restaurants Pacific O, IO and Feast at Lele. The food was well prepared, well presented, the outside dining was very nice. Cannot say enough nice things.
I had a thoroughly lackluster experience at Mama's. When we showed up for our 8:15 reservation, they had already run out of many entree options and the service timing was all wrong. I would advise going midweek, trying to get in earlier as opposed to later.

Pacific'O was outstanding.
Hula grill is so fun ... casual/nothing fancy ... great calamari... try to sit at one of the tables in the sand.
Cascades Grill at the Hyatt Regency has great seafood and is oh so romantic.
Roy's in Kahana is great too.

Just got back and my two favorites were Hula Grill and Leilani's in Kaanapali. Great pina coladas, great food and service and great sunset/ocean views. Of course, don't miss the Feast at Le Le for a glorious luau experience.
