Marriott Ocean Pointe - Singer Island

Does anyone know if there is still construction going on at this resort. If yes, which building should I avoid staying in? Which building/floor would recommend staying in? Any other info on this resort would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since we are owners there, we just got our newsletter this week.

The 4th building, the Pompano, is opening this month.
This building has an 11,000 sq foot health club. The kitchens have been upgraded to include granite countertops.

Always take an upper floor for the view. The northernmost building, I think it's the Cobia?, has an unobstructed view from it's northside along the beach. If you get an upper floor facing south in the Pompano, you will have a beautiful view across the inlet between Singer and Palm Beach islands.

There is a 2 story condo to the south of the Pompano at the tip of Singer Island, but as long as you are on an upper floor it won't interfere with the view.

The northernmost bldg is Sailfish. North to South, I think it's: Sailfish, Dolphin, Cobia, Pompano.
To Bob_W: Any recs for restaurants besides Sailfish Marina & Max & Eddie's? We hope to get back there soon! We went by water taxi to Clematis last time we were there & found a great Italian place on the corner but I can't remember the name of it.

In West Palm, Spoto's Oyster Bar, fun place very casual; good food.
Just north of the Marriott in the little strip mall there is an Italian restaurant ( I don't rembember the name) but it's pretty good for the money and never is busy.
