POMAH is either incredibly immature and childish - or a homophobe (it's really hard for me to iamgine the former - but perhaps it's true).
How can an any category friendly hotel behard to understand? (And would you expect a family-friendly hotel to bar couples wihtout kids? Or seniot citizens? Or treat those guests any differnetly?)

nytraveler, perhaps POMAH believes that family friendly hotels require proof of those staying there that they have children. I'm not sure if he thinks just showing the clerk pictures of the family back home would work, or if he thinks it's necessary for people who want to stay at a family friendly hotel to carry their marriage license and children's birth certificates at all times to prove they are real families.
The very mention of suggesting that gay people would have to prove their gayness to stay in a hotel speaks volumes about this person! And maybe I'm reading something into this, but since he was specifically referring to registering on a website where presumably there is no face to face meeting so the gay couple would have to prove they are gay, then I'm guessing he was suggesting that if they were registering in person, then there would be no such problem -- surely everyone can spot a gay a mile away, right?
