LV Comedy Shows

Does anyone have any feedback on comedy shows in Las Vegas? We are considering one of these - Catch a Rising Star, Comedy Stop, Riviera Comedy Club. We aren't big fans of improv. We have seen a few shows in Vegas and are looking for something different. Thanks for any feedback!

We've always enjoyed the Comedy Stop at the Trop. Heard the show Second City is good too (forget where it's at).
Along the lines of Whose Line Is it Anyway.

Comedy Stop at the Trop gets my vote too! I've never been disappointed with that show.

We saw a good show this past April at the Improv. Got 1/2 price tickets for it inside the M&M Factory.

I also enjoyed the show at the Improv. The half price tickets were a very good value!

We went to Second City at the Flamingo last year and it was excellent. I believe the tickets were only $35 and well worth that.

Last March my husband and I saw The Amazing Johnathon at the Flamingo. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. His show is witty, unexpected and hysterical. If you ever have the time, I would definately recomend it! Have fun!

The funniest hour we ever spent in our lives was at Mac King's comedy magic show at 1 p.m. in the afternoon. It's also the bargain of the century; we paid about $10 including an all-you-can-eat prime rib lunch. He's since changed hotels and I can't remember where he is now (and probably the rates have gone up), but his show was mentioned in a recent Budget Travel article on Las Vegas. If you go to his hotel's ticket desk, you'll get a reduced rate.

Thanks for all the feedback - just returned from LV and we decided to try the Comedy Stop @ the Tropicana - we had a great time - all 3 comedians were great! Thanks again!

Yankfan, glad you liked the comedy show.
What hotel did you stay at and how were the rooms?

Hi gotribe - We stayed @ Caesars in the Roman Tower. The room itself was just ok, somewhat rundown, but very clean. We contemplated upgrading to the newer tower, but, decided the $50 per night wasn't worth it.
