Lunch in Carson City

I'm going to be in Carson City tomorrow and have no idea of where to have lunch. Any suggestions? I've read about Red's Old 395 (someone mentioned it on this forum), but that is all I've been able to find.

Thanks!!

Looks like it will be Red's, unless we stumble across something interesting!

nevermind, I have had lunch in Carson City at the Ospry (sp) Hotel but believe it is closed for renovation. Other than that we went to Genoa (west of 395) which was fun, a little tiny historical spot or down to Gardnerville for dinner at Basque Restaurants. I don't think you would have time for that being on a lunch hour. I would ask at the lodging you are staying at for a recommendation. I have always found the people in Carson City to be very friendly and nice. I am not familar with Red's. Best wishes.

Thanks, LoveItaly. I didn't even think of Genoa. Great suggestion. I love that little town.

We're not overnighting; just going to CC for a doctor's appointment.

Have a great day.

My daughter lives in Carson City, and these are places she likes.
Glen Eagle (a little expensive)
Q`s--Good BBQ
Garebaldi`s---Good Italian
Thurman`s---good burgers, etc
Thai Spice Kitchen---good, moderately priced.

We ended up at Red's Old 395. For anyone interested, it was (IMO) o.k., but not great.

Pat, we may try one of your suggestions the next time we are in the area. I remember seeing Thai Spice Kitchen today as we were driving along.
