Hotel/Motel in Western NY
I'm so frustrated at this moment that I almost commited the cardinal sin of titling this thread HELP!!!!
Our daughter has to be back at school on Labor Day. I scr*^wed up and didn't make reservations soon enough. And now I'm having a hard time finding a place to stay on our way out, Saturday, Sept 2.
Last year we stayed at a Hampton Inn in West Seneca, NY and were very happy with it. But they have no two bedded rooms left for that night.
We'd like to get farther east than Erie, PA but probably no farther than Buffalo because by the time you get past the "Niagara Falls rates" on the other side of Buffalo, it's a pretty long drive from Chicago. However, we'd be open to suggestions if someone knows of something in that area.
We're looking for something basic, right off the interstate and inexpensive (under $100 if possible). We'll be there less than 12 hours so all we care about is clean, quiet and in a safe area. A pool would be nice but we may have to forgo that. But we'd prefer continental breakfast so that we don't have to take time to stop for breakfast.
I've checked the web sites for every chain I can think of. So far, everything is either booked or way more than we want to spend.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.

Thanks, rkkwan. But I think I'll stay with the Fairfield Inn. The location is good, the price is good. My husband will be disappointed not to be able to eat where we did last year (in Lackawanna). But after my earlier frustration, I'm just glad to have found a place!

I'll check it out right away. Fairfield Inn was one chain I forgot to check!
