Louis Vuitton stores in Las Vegas- which one?
On the way from hiking in Death Valley will be staying one night in Las Vegas before our flight back home. I would like to buy a bag or two in one of the Louis Vitton stores. Which store would you recommend? There are three stores at the Fashion Show Mall on las Vegas Blvd South. I don't know anything about these stores, mall or shopping in Las Vegas so do you have any recommendation where I should shop? These are choices at the Fashion Show Mall, Neiman Marcus, Saks and The Fashion. There is also Louis Vitton at Caesar Forum but if it is located in a casino I am not interested in shopping there. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pat...I didnt have time to think yesterday. But here's a little "funny" for ya....Not long ago I sat next to a gentlemen on a flight from Los Angeles to Dallas.Quite a talker.A true HighRoller with monthly trips to LV.His losing "limit" was $3K....Read: LOSING limit! If he busted the limit, his wife took off to the nearest Louis Vuitton store for a little shopping relief! Cute agreement,eh??

Ruinous agreement, lol!
I have an LV question: for it to be a genuine LV, does the print have to line up perfectly at the seams? Saw a bag yesterday and was very curious as to whether it was the genuine article or not, then noticed that the little flowers along the pale welting didn't line up exactly.

BeachBoi, in my case my husband completely forgot about my birthday so I can do/buy anything to relief him of guilt. On the other hand I have second thoughts about spending so much money for bags. Maybe I just put $$$$$ aside for one more extra trip to Europe in 2006.

Sometimes, one shop has a markdown on 4or5 bags that are not marked down at the other store. Case in point: Gucci store had a certain model marked down 30% and we bought it. At the other store, same model was not discounted. Don't go to both stores and buy from each, as I read on a recent trip report here on Fodor's.

Lately I have been buying all of my LV items from Karen Kooper. She's an awesome eBay seller that has like a million feedbacks, all 100% positive.
She just told me about new her website:

All of her stuff is real of course. She even bundles her stuff with this cute LV paper with LV stickers. If I could, I'd take my husbands AMEX and spend it all on her website, but I'd be in soooo much trouble of course!!!
Anyone else know of any good LV sites?

She's got great prices on her catalogues ( She's a Chanel fan too so she's got plenty of those ) but what is her specialty are her so-called VIP collection and Louis Vuitton Shoes. There are these pair of Cherry Blossom ballerinas on her website that I once saw at the LV Boutique on Rodeo Drive and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else, at least in my size, for such a good price. I'm trying to see if I can convince my husband (**fingers crossed**!) to hopefully purchase it for me on her website
