Las Vegas shopping

Where's the best shopping in Las Vegas. I heard there are a bunch of outlet malls like the one in Primm. Is it worth the time to drive to Primm or are there other worthwhile malls closer to the strip? Which malls would be the best to shop at?

Caesar's Forum Shops are the best place to shop. Everything you could possibly want.

I liked the shops at the Aladdin even better than the Forum Shops. Same feel (clouds painted on ceiling, etc.) but newer and different variety. Try them both!

Also try the shops at the Venetian. Very similar to the Forum Shops at Caesar's.

I went to the outlet mall in Primm when I went to Vegas. The drive was not very far - maybe 30 minutes or so. My husband went with me, and he didn't mind it too much because there was a casino next door to the mall. There were some nice stores - BCBG, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic, Williams Sonoma, etc. -but I didn't find the deals that I was anticipating. I had more fun shopping in Vegas at the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace and the shops at the Aladdin. Also, for very upscale shopping, check out the shops at the Bellagio - Chanel, Tiffany's, etc.

It really depends on whether you prefer outlet shopping or retail prices. The mall in Primm is ok for an outlet mall. Like the previous poster said though you have to really shop for good deals. If you want high end shopping like Gucci and Versace..do the Forum Shoppes at Ceasars. If you go to Desert Passage at the Aladdin..go into Iluminations..great candle shop if you like candles. Have fun in Las Vegas!

Another thumbs-up for the shops at Alladin. My girlfriend and I spent the better part of a day wandering around and shopping. The place is huge!

We will be in Vegas in few weeks. Can anyone else comment on the outlets in Primm? Is is worth the trip for the prices?

I have found great buys at the Guess Outlet in Primm, the Saks Last Call, Tod's Shoes, and Beach House Swimwear. Those stores make the stop worthwhile for me each trip.

Are the buys better than outlet stores elsewhere in the USA?

Dan the deals are no better at the Vegas outlets than else where. However I will go the 30 minutes just to check out the Todds store. Some might think the purse I got for $500 isn't such a deal but the same purse at Neimans last year went for over $1000.
