lodging in panama city beach

Can anyone recommend a nice, clean family hotel/motel in panama city beach. We will be arriving latter part of August.

We stayed at a Condo a few years ago when we were in Panama City Beach. It was at the quieter end of the beach.
Really nice - they were called Watercrest Condos and we rented it through a real estate place...you could do a search under www.google.com and come up with them. I think the real estate place was Resort World.

Do you really want a hotel/motel or a condo? We have stayed at Edgewater Beach in the past and found it very nice. You can rent directly on their website or thru VRBO.com. There is a Holiday Inn Supspree very close to Edgewater that looked really nice too. My parents like to stay at Marriot's Bay Point Resort, but it's on the bay, not the beach.
I'm currently looking for a two bedroom condo for Memorial Day weekend (5 nites). I'm trying to get a good deal, on the beach for around $150.00 per nite. If any owners out there have a cancellation they want to book, email me.

Would suggest you try to stay out towards the very west end of PCB. It's much more quiet (away from the party-goers). When we were there, it seemed to be mostly families.
