My favorite in the area west of the park is the Meadow Lake Resort on the outskirts of Columbia Falls MT. They have a variety of rooms and condos set on a golf course. They did pick us up from the Amtrak station in Whitefish. We stayed in a nice condo that had a hot tub. Enterprise brought us a rental car from the Kalispell airport. We were allowed to return the car at the Whitefish Amtrak station when we left.

The Lake McDonald Lodge is 10 miles inside the west entrance on the largest lake in the park. The lodge was built in 1913. To check on available dates and rates for rooms or cabins, call 855SEEGLACIER (8557334522). It will be open from May 13 to September 21 2022.
Lets hope that nalaland comes back for suggestions. Anyone else have suggestions?

We stayed at Baypoint on the Lake resort. The location was great, the units were adequate - we were only there to sleep. It was nice to be able to walk down to the lake after a day of exploring. Beautiful sunsets from our deck.
