List 5 "Must Do/Must See" for Maui, Big Island, Oahu, and Kauai
For those of you who have been to these islands, what are your top 5 sights, beaches, restaurants, activities and golf courses?

Big Island-my favorite things:
1. Lava viewing at Kilauea Volcano
2. Fair Wind snorkel cruise to Capt. Cook Monument
3. Swimming/boogie boarding at Hapuna Beach
4. Sandwiches/snacks at Na'alehu Fruit Stand
5. Toasting a beautiful sunset with a glass of honey wine from the volcano winery

Maui: 1. snorkle trip, morning trip. 2. zodiac snorkle trip to lania. 3. road to hanna, pack food for 2 meals drive all the way arround,stop at every site that interests you the cd will help you. Black sand beaches ,we played on several. 4. 1/2 to 3/4 day at whalers village( kaanapalli) snorkle black rock ( at the sheraton hotel) eat lunch at one of the grills along the beach, and shop in the open air shops all this in one area. 5. bike down the crater at sunrise. 6. dinner roy's .
Kauai: 1. And foremost helicopter grand canyon of kauai, then after drive the canyon road and take the canyon ridge hike ( moderate to hard). I cant say enough about the hike it was awe inspiring. 2. Drive to kee beach, take the mountain ridge hike ( moderate) hike till you quit smiling ( you will know - about 45 minutes) several water falls and a view of the ocean with islands in the horizon( and yes awe inspiring) hike back down to a great snorkle bay protected by a reef, with get this turtles galore near the reef and fish everwhere. 3. Find the beach of your choice ( mine a little beach near the princeville hotel). there it is nick

Oahu: Waikiki Beach, Arizona Memorial, Polynesian Cultural Center, Diamond Head, Pali Lookout. BI: Volcanoes National Park, Akaka Falls, Waipio Valley, spending quality time at your resort. Kauai: Waimea Canyon, Kokee State Park with Kalalau and Puu O Kila lookouts, exploring Hanalei and Princeville. Maui: Whale-watching cruise, drive to Hana, exploring Lahaina, Haleakala, and Iao Needle.

For Maui: 1-the road to Hana and 2-a day trip aboard the Trilogy to Lanai with a champagne sail on the way back to Maui. Leaving for Kauai on April 5, so I will let you know the top things to do there!

Big Island { in no particular order}: 1.Volcano National Park
2.Waipio Valley
3.Mauna Kea
4. Snorkling with fish and turtles - yes, Captain Cook's monument is excellent.
5. Place of Refuge and other historically significant sites, many of which I can't spell or pronounce!
