lion king question
We are planning our trip to NY in late July and can book 4 seats to Lion King - Orchestra level, row U. Is this a pretty good vantage point? Should I "bite the bullet" now and spend the money to ensure good seats - will the selection get much worse from here on out? They are $100 each.
This is actually about $600 Canadian - any thoughts on the value of seeing this with two kids for this amount of money? Thanks for any input.

I would get the tickets in advance, that still is a popular show. If you can get seats on the aisle, even better, as the puppets move down the aisles of the orchestra seating. I know it's expensive, but this show is very popular, and very good for adults and children alike.

A friend, with husband and two teenagers, from Chicago just spent four days in NY on vacation -- and the highlight for them was "Lion King." They sat in mezzanine, I think for $100 each, and she said she would have preferred orchestra seats because of the action in the aisles. Go for it!!
