lion king question
We are planning our trip to NY in late July and can book 4 seats to Lion King - Orchestra level, row U. Is this a pretty good vantage point? Should I "bite the bullet" now and spend the money to ensure good seats - will the selection get much worse from here on out? They are $100 each.<BR>This is actually about $600 Canadian - any thoughts on the value of seeing this with two kids for this amount of money? Thanks for any input.

Those sound like pretty good seats. We were in the 3rd row at the Pantages and it was a little too close as we were slightly below the stage. I thought it would've been uptimum if we were a little further back.

I would get the tickets in advance, that still is a popular show. If you can get seats on the aisle, even better, as the puppets move down the aisles of the orchestra seating. I know it's expensive, but this show is very popular, and very good for adults and children alike.

Spend the money now. I just booked May tickets for my husband's birthday and could not get orchestra seat!!!!!!!!

I've seen it from the orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony and think the orchestra is definitely the best. I generally hate Disney, but I LOVE The Lion King! You won't regret it!

thanks...I booked 4 seats! Row U in the orchestra with seats on the aisle! Can't wait.

A friend, with husband and two teenagers, from Chicago just spent four days in NY on vacation -- and the highlight for them was "Lion King." They sat in mezzanine, I think for $100 each, and she said she would have preferred orchestra seats because of the action in the aisles. Go for it!!
