L'Auberge D Aspen
Has anyone stayed here? We're booking last minute and I'm only able to get a traditional cabin in the back called "Pinion"--Southwestern decor (my least favorite from the pictures). We're not sure if we should do this or the Innsbruck Inn. Any suggestions?

I can change the hotel as long as it's booked through the same company. It's hard to book a place having never seen it by looking at only a picture. We've been disappointed quite a few times.
Does that make more sense? You're cracking me up following my posts...but not offering suggestions.

Huh, actually I've made a bunch of suggestions to you regarding the restaurants. I love the Jerome which is the only hotel I've stayed in in Aspen, but didn't sound like what you're looking for. I just never saw anyone post that they found a great deal on a hotel and booked it and they immediately post another request for another hotel.

Patrick if you're still out there I just wanted to let you know that I ended up upgrading to a beautiful room--huge cabin, fireplace, Jacuzzi, etc..for only $20 more a night ($129/night). It was a last minute deal on the Aspen Snowmass site. NOW I'm satisfied....didn't like the room we originally booked once I saw a picture of it.
