Las Vegas Shows

Going to Las Vegas in November, any comments on favorite shows? Any thoughts about Manilow?

I'm not a Manilow fan. Jersey Boys is great. The music from both seem to appeal to the same age group. Jersey boys has a wider appeal,in my opinion.

I'd have to put my vote on "O". Although it was pricey, both my husband and I felt it was worth every penny, and he generally does not like shows. Manilow gets good reviews but I have not seen him myself.

Yes! I agree, Love is fantastic, as frankie said. It is very, let me say ... colorful (as in psychedelic), reminiscent of the era.

We have seen LOVE a few times and it is great. Another show not mentioned previously, but highly recommended is Human Nature at the Imperial Palaces. 1/2 price tickets are available at the tix4night outlets.

I think you can't go wrong with any Cirque du Soleil show. If LOVE is out of your budget, check out Mystere at TI. Choose the second tier tickets which are higher up and actually better seats because so much is going on above the stage. You can see it for under $90 a ticket (at least that was the going rate when I went earlier this year). I would recommend buying the 2nd tier on all cirque shows. If you get seats close to the stage, you will spend most of the time with your neck craned. I have seen LOVE, Mystere, & KA so far and loved them all, but for very different reasons.

Another vote for Jersey Boys - they got a well deserved standing ovation at the end. Even though the music was before our time, I was surprised at how many of the songs I knew. Great storyline too. I agree - it's very hard to choose!
