Las Vegas Monte Carlo question

Anyone have any recent experience with this resort/casino? I was there years ago, but haven't been back to Vegas in over 4 years now.

I was just offered a free three night stay plus some other perks- do you think it is worth it if I can get cheap airfare for a break in early March? Any recent stay reviews are much appreciated.

I here to say for you that the MC hotel is okay for good pricing. Sometimes can be best pricing on the road in Wegas. Last staying we had a pair Queens in the room facing the road. Too bad not so lucky at poker tables. Wave pool and float river are smash for kids and adults are still kids. The rug mechanic like all beers made at MCBrewery with 2for1 tickets give at check in desks. Maybe not change hotelrooms since you were sleeping 4 years ago.

Do seek truth in all your travels and you will never be overspent, overdrawn or over 21 at BJtable.

I know, it is a good deal. Plus they are giving me extra $$$ for the casino and 2 dinners.

But I do have to get there and you know that no trip to Vegas is ever free besides. LOL!

Apart from that the casino is very light and airy- has the least smoke, IMHO- but I was only there 1 nite before a trip to AZ- so I really never did anything but sleep.

I stayed there a year ago, on a $49 per night deal from Sun-Thu.

For the price, it is hard to find a better deal. Having said that, there are much nicer hotels in Vegas. I didn't care too much for the casino or the restaurants at the Montecarlo. The rooms were OK, but nothing fancy.

All in all, a perfectly decent (whatever 'decent' means in Vegas) place and a great value.

The Monte Carlo isn't plush, but it is comfortable enough, and its location is good. I'm jealous.

I didn't care much for the hotel, personally. But for 3 free nights, I'd take it! We were there a year ago and the rooms were just ok. Casino seemed small. Poker room was fun. I'm not a gambler, so I like to shop while my husband's in the casino, and MC has NO shopping to speak of. But it's a good base for going to all of the other hotel casinos and shops.
