@gluvscats:

At $269, you're throwing your money away. I found a better deal for you. Go to the site mentioned above (www.vegas-promotions.com).

Click on "MGM Grand" on the left and then go to the "MGM Grand Exclusive" offer (there are two MGM Grand Exclusive offers listed, make sure you click the one that says "Stay at MGM Grand and receive special rates Sunday through Thursday").

Your room for 8/26 - 8/29 is $230.

If you're actually going 9/2 - 9/5, it's $227.

Just thought you might want to save a few bucks for the tables. Enjoy Las Vegas!!

Are you kidding? for $250 you can stay anywhere on the strip, not only that you can get a suite!

browse some of the special offer the strip has to offer:

We just stayed at The Venetian for $139 a night. The suite had been remodeled and had 3 flat screen TV'S, new furniture, a very comfortable bed and I've always loved their separate stall shower, marble countertops, etc. We saw Jersey Boys and really enjoyed it. The first night we ate at The Wynn buffet. Even though we got there at 5:05 pm, there was a long line. The food was excellent and we ate way too much. We also had breakfast at Bouchon. I ordered the french toast. It was yummy. We ate on the patio. It was so nice. Can't wait to go back.

Get your player cards and if you gamble you can get good deals for the next trip to Vegas.

Another way is to check the hotel websites as they run specials. August is so hot in Vegas I think it is cheaper.

I have The Wynn booked for $179 per night at the end of september and will keep checking up until we leave to see if I can get it any lower or find a steal somewhere else.. it's kinda fun... but you should definately be able to get something nice in your price range if you pay attention!

I think Priceline only works with two 5* hotels on the strip, or at least it was that way when I bid. Got Venetian for $85/night high season. I'd reserve somewhere and try bidding on Priceline.

Oh and MGM Grand is having some crazy sale for late August/early September travel. $69 a night if you stay on August 27 & 28...or Sept 1,2, or 3.

We have stayed at the Wynn twice and while the hotel is beautiful their service is absolutly horrible. Both times we waited over an hour to check in, check out took forever, both times our room had dirty towels in them, housekeeping never came when we requested clean ones, the pool isnt that great. It was really, really disappointing both times we were there. Im sure others have had different experiences, but we sure as heck will never be going back. We had a better stay at the MGM for 70.00 a night.
