I agree with Icuy. Cirque du soleil is incredible and if you have never had the opportunity to see it, here's your chance. Opinions are divided as to which is better but O is probably sold out by now. I haven't seen BMG as it is billed as LOUD percussion and did not appeal to me. A fun inexpensive show that your mom might like is the Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace. They have impersonators of Temptations, Elvis, Tina Turner etc (they change) that sing their own vocals. Its a lot of fun, clean and very Vegas. My son and I loved Danny Gans. I think he is incredibly talented. We want to see Wayne Newton some time as he is so classic. Have a good time and say hi to the Bellagio fountains for me. Chris

Hi Paul, We just returned from Vegas yesterday. Really enjoyed the Rita Rudner show at NY NY. DONT MISS the Mac King Comedy Magic Show at Harrah's. It runs at 1 and 3 pm and at $14.95 is the best value on the strip. The guy is absolutely hilarious! Also saw 'O' which was fantastic but $$$$. Imperial Palace Legends in Concert is miss-able. The Scintas Family at the Rio was very good and we go in 2 for 1 with the coupon from the Rio's website. Went to the Stratosphere for my birthday dinner and it was outstanding and what a view of the city lights! Enjoy your trip

Thanks Nancy for the advise. We already have booked dinner for thursday night at the stratosphere. I tried to find a menu on the site to see what they had and for how much but I couldn't find any info. Our family mainly plans to relax at the hotel so we wont be making too many trips out but the show you saw sounds great.

Book your shows thru the internet, most popular shows like O and Mystere are hard to get, the rest you might have a slim chance to book when your there, anyway if you don't get to watch , just plan a trip to GRAND CANYON , it will be worth the trip.

You have already had a lot of input and I did not take the time read all of it so pardon the duplication. The Rat Pack is no longer playing @ the Sahara. You can find some show coupons @ the following website:
http://home.earthlink.net/~mjceditor/coupons.html. The top 3 shows per most polls are O, Mystere and Danny Gans. Blue Man Group is a distant 4th. There are 2 excellent afternoon shows: Mac King and Rick Thomas. Go to Harrah's Carnival Court in the afternoon and there a women passing out free and discounted to tickets to there shows (i.e. MacKing, Clint Holmes, Improv, Skintight).

We just back from Vegas and loved danny gans. Thought rITA RUdner was ok, that's all. ( not worth the 46.00$ cost) The lounge act at the Paris hotel is GREAT! They are a band called Cat daddy, and they are soooooo entertaining. Unbelievable that it is free!! I would book everything with the hotel for their shows, and they don't charge a fee. Just go to their web site and they will give you the toll free number. Go to the Bellagio buffet, it is magnificent and worth every penny., also the buffet at the Paris, and the alladin. They are by far the best!!Enjoy!!
