Have you thought of Mystere or O? - great shows that everyone should love. IMHO much better than Blue Man.

One thing about Blue man...it is really, really loud. Take foam earplugs if you aren't into rock concert level noise.
My husband, who has been to Danny Gans, said he thought the show was boring. Think about it...Wayne Newton has been selling out Las Vegas for decades.... There is no accounting for taste, so follow your own!

When I saw D.G. a few years ago he did this big holy roller deal at the end. Religion is a very private thing and I don't like when someone tries to push their beliefs onto someone else. Hopefully he's stopped preaching by now.

Wasn't Danny Ganz in some kind of accident or sick and he had to quit being a ball player?
I haven't seen him yet,but there isn't a person that I know that doesn't rave about how good his show is.The Mirage built the theater just for him didn't they?

Right you are katieln or katelin or whatever the spelling is. Former minor league ballplayer who was forced out by injury. Mirage bid big $$ to buy DG from the Rio and built him a theater as an inducement. The Mirage's investment has paid off big.

How loud does the blue man group get and is the loudness only at points or all the way through? I have heard a little about Mystere and O. How are the shows and how much do they cost?

Mystere is like a new age Circus. Arguably the best show on the strip along with the "O" show which a notch up (same company), more impressive set. Mystere runs around $50.00, "O" is $100-125. "O" is most likely already sold out. I would suggest Mystere as first choice, Blue Man than Rat Pack or Lance Burton. Have a great visit!

Why did you bring it back up again?

When we saw the Blue Man Group in March, they gave us foam ear plugs when we arrived. I am in my mid-40s and did not use them - I didn't think it was all that loud.

BMG wasn't all that loud. We sat in row 1 right by the speakers.
Mystere is closer to $85, not $50.
"O" was ~$110 last I checked.

So what would you guys suggest out of the three? Mystere,"O", or the Blue Man Group?

I also would like to know the prices for each show. Thanks in advance.

What type of shows are Mystere and "O"? Which casinos are they playing at?

both O and Mystere are Cirque de Soleil- lots of acrobatics, wild music, etc. O is set in water, and Mystere is not. O is at Bellagio, Mystere is at treasure Island.

They both sound really good. Which one do you guys think is better?

On average, it seems about 2/3 of people prefer O over Mystere. They're very different, both very good and worth the $.
